Food and Solidarity is a democratic membership organisation committed to improving the quality of life in your neighbourhoods. It is a democratic, non-profit, and member-led organisation. They are committed to addressing urgent community needs through direct action, providing food support, organizing against evictions, and holding landlords accountable for neglecting their properties. They offer weekly food distribution, eviction defense, and campaigns related to housing disrepair, cost of living, and child poverty. Members participate in weekly food distributions, eviction defense actions, & campaigns addressing housing disrepair. Based in the Inner West End of Newcastle Upon Tyne, the organisation is expanding its impact across the city and beyond.
