FINANCIAL SERVICES CULTURE BOARD

The Financial Services Culture Board (FSCB) was a membership body operating from April 2015 to June 2023. It worked with financial services firms to help them understand and manage their workplace cultures. The FSCB closed in 2023 because of uncertainty in income for projects. The FSCB aimed to improve culture after the 2008 financial crisis by raising standards of behavior and competence in the sector. The FSCB developed an assessment framework and employee survey. They surveyed over 45,000 employees to understand their views on various characteristics like honesty, respect, openness, and accountability. The FSCB focused on aspects such as mental health at work, speaking up, skills, inclusion, and employee well-being, aiming for good outcomes for customers and clients.
