FAMILY ADDICTION SUPPORT SERVICE

FASS offers free confidential support, advice and information to family members who have been affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol use. Established in Glasgow, 1986. The service provides support, counselling, advice and information to parents, spouses, partners and adult family members who due to their loved one's alcohol or drug problems are feeling the negative impact which this has on them. Support is also provided for Kinship carers who are looking after a child due to parental alcohol/drug problems. FASS provides support to families who may be in anyway affected by a family member's drug and/or alcohol misuse. Operational over 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am until 4.00 pm. Provides peer led support to anybody who has a concern about a loved one’s substance use.
