The company was formed in 2002 after changing its name from David Barlow Electrical. This change reflected the growth, ambitions, and importance of the company since its startup in 1986. It is a registered contractor and approved by the NICEIC. They have maintained an installation contract with British Gas since 1986. The company also secured a contract with Green World Energy Solutions of Blackburn. They are capable of handling all types of domestic and commercial work. The company carries out around 5000 heating installations a year and hopes to double that figure in the next three years. Electrical Homecare's engineers are fully qualified, including in PV solar installations. They have extensive experience with central heating systems and can diagnose faults, introduce new controls, and improve system efficiency.
