EDINBURGH EQUILEARN CIC

Edinburgh EquiLearn CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company providing an equine assisted youth support service supporting children and young people across Edinburgh (predominantly North Edinburgh). They support children and young people from the most deprived areas providing a unique equine assisted support service as well as access to horse riding for those that are unable to do so otherwise. The aim of their group sessions is to increase the self-esteem, confidence and mental wellbeing of all participants as well as allowing them to learn new transferable skills. The project was originally piloted in August 2022. The organization is currently working with local schools, Edinburgh Council Social Services and other third sector organizations. The company relies on donations and grant funding. Edinburgh EquiLearn CIC provides an Equine Assisted Youth support service. They also offer wellbeing sessions and pony rides.
