EAST OF ENGLAND BUILDINGS PRESERVATION TRUST

The East of England Buildings Preservation Trust (EEBPT) is a charity devoted to saving historic buildings and structures in the East of England. It often works with local authorities and seeks to save and bring back into use 'Buildings at Risk'. It is always interested in hearing about the possibility of new projects and would be particularly interested in a project that involved a building or buildings where there may be, at least, an element of community use. The Trust came into being in the Summer of 2007 and is still seeking its first project in its expanded area of operation. The present Trust superceded the Cambridgeshire Historic Buildings Preservation Trust which was founded 1984 and which in turn had incorporated the Ely Preservation Trust Ltd -founded 1979. The principal object of the charity is the preservation of English historical, architectural and constitutional heritage, in the East of England.
