DAVENTRY INTERNATIONAL RAIL FREIGHT TERMINAL LIMITED

Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT) is a rail-road intermodal freight terminal with an associated warehousing estate in Northamptonshire. It is a huge and expanding distribution hub in central England with easy access by road and rail to 98% of Britain's population. DIRFT is home to many familiar consumer brands as well as logistics and delivery companies. In 2008 Malcolm Rail became the Terminal Operator of the Daventry International Railfreight Terminal - DIRFT. DIRFT handles over 100 train services per week, for major freight operating companies such as DB Cargo, Direct Rail Services, and Freightliner. The latest project, DIRFT III, will bring 8 million sq ft of additional logistics space to Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal. According to the developers Prologis, 98% of the British population can be reached within a 4.5 hours drive of DIRFT.
