CULTURE AND SPORT GLASGOW

Culture and Sport Glasgow is a charitable trust created by Glasgow City Council in 2007 to manage the city's museums, galleries, and leisure services. It operates over 140 venues, including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Burrell Collection, The Mitchell Library, Scotstoun Stadium and Leisure Centre, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the Riverside Museum. A linked trading company, Culture and Sport Glasgow Trading CIC, was established in 2007 to oversee commercial activities. The CIC creates income through retail, catering, and venue hire, which is gift-aided to Culture and Sport Glasgow.
