By the 1930s, they produced items for the British Army such as jerkins and flying helmets. Throughout the 20th century, Cookson & Clegg was a major supplier of military outerwear, legwear, and other sewn products to the British Army and other armed forces. Today, the company uses these skills to manufacture outerwear, jeans, and chinos for premium UK clothing brands, operating a state-of-the-art facility in Blackburn with a capacity to produce up to 2,000 garments per month. They offer services including pattern cutting, digitizing & grading, sampling, and bulk manufacturing.
