CHURCH ACTION ON POVERTY LIMITED

Church Action on Poverty is a national ecumenical Christian social justice charity, committed to tackling poverty in the UK. They work in partnership with churches, and with people in poverty themselves, to tackle the root causes of poverty. They aim to have a sustainable livelihood for all; give a voice to people living in poverty and encouraging a church that is mobilised to work with others to overcome poverty, forming alliances with those of good will from all faith and none. They put gospel values of justice and compassion into practice and are driven by the insights and experiences of people who live with poverty. They speak truth to power, campaigning nationally and locally for policies that will loosen the grip of poverty on people’s lives.
