Children & Family Empowerment Foundation (CFEF) is a family centre for children, young people and their families within the community. CFEF provides practical and emotional support to children and families each year through our diverse range of services across London. Since 2015, CFEF has been helping families with children and young people through their challenging times. CFEF is there for parents when they need us the most because childhood can’t wait. CFEF supports families, working alongside parents and carers in order to equip them with the parenting skills and confidence they need to give their children a bright future. CFEF works with parents whose children are in need, at risk or are in the care system. Our service focuses on building family resilience and relationships and strengthening support networks. CFEF is working together against domestic abuse until women and children are safe. CFEF understands the challenges faced by refugees, asylum seekers and forced migrants. CFEF responds with meaningful solutions by offering practical assistance to those we accompany, responding to the individual’s needs, whether they find themselves destitute or detained under immigration rules. CFEF provides Food bank for those in need. Services include: Afterschool and holiday club, Parenting program, Outreach, advocacy, advice and support to asylum seekers and other undocumented migrants, who would otherwise be unable to access such representation due to their limited financial resources.
