They are committed to high animal welfare standards, encouraging their birds to roam free and forage. Castlemead Poultry supplies one farm shop and two pubs and sells the remainder at the farm gate. Originally started by his grandparents in 1940. Stuart Perkins is the third generation of farmers on the farm.
