Brown Books is a community bookshop in High Town, Luton and is a key project being delivered by Luton Literature CIC. The shop sells a mix of second-hand (pre-loved) and new books, as well as being a hub for literary events and activities. Initially opened as a second hand bookshop inside 33@77, 77 High Town Road for one year as a pilot project between Luton Literature CIC (LLCIC) and Luton Community Arts Trust (LCAT). Following the success of that pilot, it is now a permanent fixture (as long as funding lasts).
