BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY

The British Association for Psychopharmacology (BAP) is a learned society and registered charity that promotes research and education in psychopharmacology and related areas, bringing together people in academia, health services, and industry. Founded in 1974, it's one of the largest national psychopharmacology associations in the world. The BAP's remit encompasses the biological basis of brain and behavior, its alterations in psychiatric disorders, and the study of treatments for disorders of brain and behaviour including current and novel treatments and drugs of abuse. The BAP is relevant to psychiatrists, neuroscientists, pharmacologists, neurologists, pharmacists, and psychologists.
