The charity believes that every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential, and that a child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. The charity offers support to all early childhood education practitioners, including those in maintained settings, private, voluntary and independent provider and home-based childcare, as well as local authority staff via publications, training and consultancy, national events and conferences and local branch meetings.
