Bransby Horses is one of the UK's largest equine welfare charities, dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Founded in 1968 by Mr Peter Hunt, they rescue, rehabilitate, and care for equines in need. They also offer advice and support to owners and carers. They are home to more than 300 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, providing safe permanent refuge to over 425 rescued animals on-site and caring for over 500 animals on their foster scheme. In 2024, they rescued 95 equines and rehomed 117.
