Better Leeds Communities aims to improve the lives of residents in Leeds. They strive to improve employability, provide sustained support to families and reduce child poverty in the city’s communities. They offer community-based services, including community events, advice services, training courses, and room hire. Their mission is to create opportunities that enable residents to achieve their potential by raising aspirations, removing barriers, and developing abilities. They offer impartial, independent and free advice on a wide range of issues including debt and finances, housing and homelessness. Their building on Burley Lodge Road is the hub of their community, and they offer activities such as employability training, advice sessions, language lessons, and family-friendly activities.
