BELFAST EXPOSED PHOTOGRAPHY

Belfast Exposed is Northern Ireland's leading photography centre. Its mission is to enrich people’s lives through photography by providing high-quality services for the public, businesses, schools & universities, health trusts, the arts and the community sector. Founded in 1983, Belfast Exposed provides a range of services including four public galleries exhibiting work by both internationally renowned and local photographers, images from the Archive, and their ‘Futures’ project – a special programme for emerging artists. They maintain an archive recording the political, cultural and social change in Northern Ireland; deliver an extensive educational and socially engaged outreach programme; provide specialized and bespoke training courses to the public; offer accredited educational programmes for schools and community groups, as well as a range of corporate packages for businesses; and provide venue hire. The charity also provides photography training and personal development courses, therapeutic reminiscence activities for seniors and those suffering from dementia, and mentoring for young artists.
