Base Radio is a community radio station broadcasting online & DAB Digital Radio. The station began in May 2020 as an online Internet radio station, for the communities of South Bristol. On 29th April 2023, Base Radio began life as a fully-fledged radio station broadcasting to East Bristol on the small-scale DAB Digital radio multiplex there. Base Radio is a Bristol radio station dedicated to connecting, informing and entertaining listeners, bringing you the best in music, news and entertainment right from the heart of South Bristol. Base Radio is limited by guarantee and we receive funding from a variety of sources including, grants, donations, and subscriptions.
