AXIS COUNSELLING

AXIS Counselling is an independent specialist charity providing therapeutic and practical support for survivors and their families who have experienced any type of sexual trauma. AXIS was formed in 1993 as a charity to meet a growing need to help people in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to deal with the trauma of childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse. They provide a locally based, accessible and confidential counselling service for men and women aged 11 years or over. AXIS has an experienced team of qualified counsellors, who have been specifically trained to help clients overcome the traumatic events of their childhood. AXIS offers Crisis Counselling for survivors, offering up to 10 sessions to help with the immediate effects of trauma, Fast Track Counselling and one-to-one counselling for women. They also provide counselling for children, young people and families. ISVA services are provided.
