They provide bespoke rescue boats, mobile lifeboat stations and trained crew to communities that lack provision for water rescue. Their mission is to combat global drowning out of a universal respect for human life, providing lifeboats, crew, and unique training programs to areas of need. The charity's objects (Objects) are specifically restricted to the following: to save lives at sea and on inland waters throughout the world for the public benefit including without limitation: to promote safety and provide relief from disaster at sea and on inland waters; to provide technical expertise, training, equipment to build lifeboats to set standards for marine rescue.
