Green Earth Developments Group has acquired Astley Sand & Aggregates Ltd, the operators of Morleys Quarry near Manchester. GEDG are currently completing the restoration of Phase 1 with circa 750,000 tonnes of soils. Surveys are now underway for the submission of a planning application for Phase 2 which incorporates extraction of 2M tonnes of sand, 1M tonnes of clay and restoration through importation of 4M tonnes of soils.
