The alloy used today in pieces which display the quality touchmarks of the Association of British Pewter Craftsmen is in the range: tin 91-5% minimum, copper 8%. ABPC is responsible for monitoring the quality of pewter produced and the use of its registered marks, which are the ABPC triangle logo (member of the ABPC) and the Seahorse mark (badge of quality).
