ASSOCIATION FOR RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY

The Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) is a professional membership body established in 1993 by a group of psychologists, counsellors, and psychotherapists. AREBT aims to promote high standards in the practice of REBT. Accredited members are listed on The CBT Register, a joint national register of all AREBT and BABCP accredited members, and is a Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA) accredited register. AREBT also provides listings of other qualified REBT practitioners. The IAREBT, founded in 2019, is the first global association of REBT and provides academic training worldwide.
