ASSOCIATION DES SENEGALAIS(ES) DU ROYAUME-UNI (ASRU)

The Association des Senegalais (es) du Royaume-Uni (ASRU) was founded on March 29, 2009, following the tragic death of the late Cheikh Sadibou Thioye in 2007. ASRU is a company limited by guarantee. It aims to bring together the Senegalese community in the UK, provide aid and assistance to vulnerable Senegalese, and promote cultural assimilation for children and young people. ASRU also organizes events and offers services like translation and interpretation. The organization has projects to bring together Senegalese people, support cultural preservation, and extend social actions to those in prisons and hospitals.
