Our Family Hotel is situated in the centre of the small village of Shap. Directly on the Wainwright coast to coast, surrounded by rich, local history and tourism. Boasting 7 spacious bedrooms we are ideally located either side of the Lake District Fells and Pennines, we are the ideal base for adventurers and walkers. Our popular home-cooked menu is continuously updated with a range of fresh and locally sourced ingredients to offer a wide range of choice for all tastes and dietary requirements. We have daily specials and lunch menu (only available at weekend) and our traditional Sunday Lunches are proving very popular, so we suggest booking! Relax in one of our 7 beautiful bedrooms with perfect amenities after a hard day on the fells or adventuring the surrounding area. Car parking is available on site and packed lunches are also available at an extra cost. A few of our rooms are pet friendly, so your four legged companion can come too.
