England's largest award winning high street Antiques Centres. A traditional antique centre, encompassing the Market in 25 to 29 Silver Street which still opens on a Monday complete with café. Items will go under the hammer for the first time at Antiques on High, in Silver Street, on Wednesday, January 17. Taunton Antique Market opened on Silver Street in 1978. The market thrived and on a Monday queue’s around the block were a regular sight with people waiting to get in with over 100 dealers ensconced in the quirky building it quickly became a Mecca for all things antique with people travelling from around the country and beyond to sample the atmosphere and delights of the 15 thousand square foot venue.
