ANGEL COMMUNITY CANAL BOAT TRUST

The Angel Community Canal Boat Trust (ACCT) is a charity that operates two skippered community canal boats, 'Angel II of Islington' and 'Long Tom', for use by local residents and community groups of all ages at an affordable cost. ACCT has been operating from Angel, Islington, London since 1976, providing residential and day trips for approximately 2000 young people and other disadvantaged and isolated local community groups. These trips offer an opportunity to explore canals, learn about history and the environment, and gain a unique perspective of London. The charity offers canal boat hire for community groups and private hire for up to 12 people.
