Age UK Calderdale & Kirklees provides a wide range of service for older people and their carers aged 50+. They offer a befriending service for any older person who feels lonely or isolated, advice and information on welfare benefits, money matters, consumer issues, leisure activities, health promotion activities, and community services. They also provide practical support after hospital discharge. Age UK Calderdale and Kirklees exists to promote the well-being of all older people in Calderdale and Kirklees, recognizing their right to independence, fulfilment, dignity, and choice, working with them to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
