AGE CONCERN TYNESIDE SOUTH

Age Concern Tyneside South (ACTS) is an independent, local charity working in South Tyneside, supporting people over the age of 50. ACTS provides a wide range of services to support older/elderly people to make the most out of later life. The charity aims to change negative perceptions of ageing and champion the issues that are important to older people. ACTS provides services and activities that maintain older people’s choice and control, improve well-being, and enable healthier and happier ageing. ACTS wants older people to live happier and healthier lives, free from the fear of poverty and loneliness, within supportive communities.
