AGE CONCERN NORTH NORFOLK

Age Concern North Norfolk, operating as Sheringham Day Services, provides a hub for social activity, supporting older adults who may be physically frail, visually impaired, socially isolated, or showing early stages of dementia. They aim to maintain clients' independence and enable them to participate in community life, offering services like rehabilitation programs, reminiscence, meals, and engaging activities. They also offer a meals on wheels service. The Day Centre is open Tuesday to Friday. Volunteers are needed to deliver hot meals. They offer a range of day service care to meet the needs of each person. They offer a range of activities which may include support with rehabilitation programs, carer support, personal care, assistance with medication given, toileting, meals, exercise, reminiscence, light entertainment, indoor/outdoor activities, trips/outings, and sing-a-long. They also deliver hot two-course meals between Cromer and Holt and the greater Sheringham area, delivered by a team of volunteers.
