About AFRICAN CARIBBEAN CARE GROUP

The African Caribbean Care Group (ACCG) is a registered charity providing Health and Social care support to adults in Manchester, Trafford, Salford and Stockport. Established since 1983 the ACCG strives to alleviate social isolation and loneliness of older adults of African and Caribbean decent. They provide a person centred approach to all services offered to service users. The work undertaken within the ACCG significantly enhances the lives of vulnerable older adults through health promotion, information and guidance on social reform and adult welfare. ACCG provides information and advice services supporting the needs of our local community with Welfare Rights, Benefits, Housing, Dementia Support, Carer Support, and more. They offer a day care service, holistic therapies, delivered meals and a luncheon club on week days. ACCG has been dedicated to supporting the African Caribbean Community by providing culturally appropriate support, healthcare, meals, and activities since 1983. The ACCG Information and Advice Service is accredited by the Advice Quality Standard (AQS), reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable support.
