ACRONYM INSTITUTE FOR DISARMAMENT DIPLOMACY

The Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy (AIDD) is a UK-based civil society organization founded in 1995. AIDD focuses on research, analysis, and strategies for nuclear disarmament, global security, women, peace, and climate justice. It engages with governments, parliamentarians, and civil society around the world through education, talks, presentations, and publications. AIDD works to promote effective approaches to international security, disarmament and arms control and supports the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). AIDD’s objectives include antiviolent approaches, humanitarian disarmament, and connecting climate and nuclear developments to persuade governments to prevent the use of nuclear weapons and reduce fossil fuel production.
