The Abbeyfield Sanderstead Society is a charity that provides accommodation for fit and able older people on a non-profit basis. Abbeyfield Sanderstead was established in 1969 by members of the Sanderstead United Reformed Church and St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church. In 2004, our home was extensively renovated and now comprises nine en-suite rooms, lift to the first floor, dining area in the atrium and laundry facilities. Abbeyfield House offers high quality sheltered housing where residents have the freedom to live an independent lifestyle, in a warm friendly family atmosphere. Located in a quiet residential road, we are within easy access of local amenities including shops, doctors surgery, library, dentist and churches. They provide sheltered accommodation for elderly residents.
