Abbeyfield Lodge is a large, detached home near the centre of Fleet in Hampshire, registered to support up to 13 men and women of varying ages with mental health conditions and associated complex needs. The property includes 12 single bedrooms on the ground and first floors; eight with ensuite facilities, the other four sharing three large separate bathrooms. The home also incorporates one, self-contained, single bedroom flat on the first floor. Abbeyfield offers plenty of communal space including a large shared lounge for relaxing and socialising, a games and activity room with a computer and internet access, a kitchen and dining room. Outside there is an attractive, landscaped garden with a patio, barbeque area and gazebo. The garage has been converted into a garden room for residents to relax, listen to music and enjoy a little quiet time. The home offers a programme of individual and group activities, and has excellent links with local colleges and businesses offering work placements. Regular monthly residents’ meetings provide a forum to discuss service provision and encourage feedback.
